Two Out Of Three Ain't So BadAfter watching the first two games of the series, the Sox looked great. My dad turns to me and says "Sunday's game on national TV, they are probably going to look bad." Well, they didn't look bad but they didn't look as good as the first two games. Johan Santana was the reason why. He was just dominating striking out 11 batters. We jumped on him early but then he just shut us down. Mark Buehrle was a little shaky as he walked three batters which he rarely does. But I will take two out of three anytime we go to Minny. Great way to start the year against the Twinkies.
I like what I saw out of Pablo Ozuna. He played LF and led off last night. He showed great speed as he led the game off with a bunt single. He will be valuable for us. Ozzie likes his great speed plus he can play the outfield, second, third, and short. He will be a great utility man since Ozzie likes to give his starters a day off every now and then to keep them fresh.
Off to Cleveland to spoil their home opener!
