What a great day it was on Monday! 65 degrees and sunny, packed house,
an amazing fly over during the National Anthem, and of course a White Sox
winner!

Mark Buehrle was dominating, going 8 innings giving up 2 hits, no runs and striking out five as the Sox won the opener 1-0. He was perfect through the first four innings. What a great way to start the year. I just wish I could have been there longer. With Buehrle rolling, the game only lasted for one hour and 51 minuets. Shingo came in the 9th and closed out the game for his first save of the year. Jake Westbrook was just as good for the Indians. He pitched a completer game giving up one run on four hits striking out three.

Player of the Game

8 IP, 2H, 5K, W(1-0)
